The Home Office factsheets and the statutory guidance under section 27 of the Act tell you everything the law asks of standard tier. Our own free guide walks through the four procedures with prompts. Write them in a document, keep a spreadsheet of who was briefed and when, put a reminder in the diary.
This is a perfectly good answer, and it is the one we would give a small hall with one caretaker and a treasurer who likes spreadsheets. It stops being good when the people change: the spreadsheet lives on someone's laptop, the procedures get edited in place and nobody can say which version a volunteer actually read.
