Enhanced tier
Once simultaneous capacity reaches 800 — or a premises is always-enhanced regardless of headcount — the duties widen: a documented public protection procedure, a vulnerability assessment, and physical or technological measures. Muster doesn’t cover that yet. It’s next on our roadmap, and we’d rather build it properly than bolt it onto standard tier.

To be plain about it: standard tier carries no legal duty to keep any of these records. That duty applies to enhanced tier. Everything above is worth having so you can show what you have in place and so the work survives your volunteers changing, but nobody can tell you the law requires it. What is the founding member offer, exactly?
Half price, for as long as you stay. Anyone who subscribes before 5 April 2027 pays £7.50 a month, or £74.95 a year, and that discount stays on the subscription for its whole life — it is not an introductory rate that quietly doubles in year two. The date tracks the Act's expected commencement, which is expected rather than certain; if commencement moves, we may move the date with it, and we will say so here. If you cancel and come back later, you come back at whatever the price is then.
Why show prices including VAT?
Because our buyers cannot reclaim it. A church, a village hall or a small charity pays the VAT and never sees it again, so quoting ex-VAT would just be a smaller number that is not true. £14.99 is what leaves your account.
What does paying annually get me?
Two months free: £149.90 for the year rather than £179.88. Treasurers tend to prefer one invoice a year, and so do we. Founding members get the same two months off their half price.
Is there a free trial?
No. The free guide and scope checker let you decide whether Muster is relevant before paying. A subscription is charged when you start it; if the product is not right for you, ask within 14 days and we will refund the first payment in full.
How does the money-back guarantee work?
Email [email protected] within 14 days of first subscribing. You do not need to give a reason. We will cancel the subscription, refund the first payment in full and keep your records available to export. This promise applies to organisations as well as consumers.
What happens if we cancel?
You can export everything you have put in, in open formats, at any time including after you cancel. Your records and evidence pack stay readable, and we delete your data within 30 days of you asking us to. Committees are right to fear lock-in, so we removed the lock.
How does umbrella pricing work?
There is no fixed figure to quote — it is priced against how many sites you hold and how the portfolio is set up, not per seat, because a diocese should not be penalised for letting every parish administrator have their own login. Do you charge extra for more users?
No. Shared logins are how records rot, so charging per seat would be charging you to do the right thing.
Do you support enhanced tier (800+)?
Not yet. Enhanced tier adds a documented public protection procedure, a vulnerability assessment and physical or technological measures — genuinely different work from the four standard-tier procedures, and we would rather build proper support for it than bolt it on. It is next on our roadmap. If you are an 800-plus premises, tell us at [email protected] and we will let you know the moment it ships; until then, an experienced counter-terrorism security adviser is the honest place to start.
